A group of US nanotechies has decided to form an association to provide a platform for nanotechnology researchers, technologists and investors of Indian origin.
The Indus Nanotechnology Association(TINA) would help networking among Indian professionals in the field in the US
.It will also provide opportunities for cooperation with their counterparts in India, said Thoman Abraham, President of Innovative Research and Products. Abraham said since Nanotechnology along with related fields such as Nanomaterials, Nano-Bio Convergence, Nanoelectronics, Nanomedicine and other areas are growing leaps and bounds, the Indian American group assembled which recently met in New York felt the need for organizing professions in these fields.
Nanotechnology, he said, is being termed by many as the "next big thing" among the emerging technologies.
