Warner back with Hostage Movie

Warner Bros. has acquired an untitled action thriller pitch about the rescue last year of fifteen hostages in Colombia reports Variety. The story will focus on Operacion Jaque, a five-year plan to locate and rescue three Americans who had been captured in 2003 by Colombian guerilla group FARC. The covert effort involved numerous governments, diplomats and intelligence services and a vast network of spies, military advisers and soldiers plus high-tech surveillance measures.Peter Landesman has been set to write the script which Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Scott Z. Burns will produce.Screen Gems is at work on a rival drama "Operation Checkmate" that Jessica Postigo is penning and Simon Brand will direct.

Is Actress forced for money in India?

Is Actress in India especially in south are forced to do obscence scenes in movies? Here is one incident. Kerala Actress Bhanu eloped from her house and met with journalist for help yesterday in Cochin. As she had tears running down her cheaks she said she has been tortured by her father to act in obscene scenes.
She says ‘right in my childhood, my father left us and never turned onto our side and it was my uncle who saved from the deep troubles and lifted to certain level. Then as I started acting in films, my father got back again and we were there showering our love for us. But then, he started grabbing the money I earned through films. Also he forced me to act in films of obscenity and even he spoke the worst about me in public’.
She asked for the support from the media and the public not just for her but for her mother, Shaali as well.

Aegan goes US

Ajith’s movie Aegan is releasing with more than 12 prints in USA. According to Bharat Creations, the distributor of Aegan, it is the first time Ajith`s movie is being released with as many prints. Even his movie Billa did not have as many prints. In USA a special celebration are planned to take place at all the theatres for Diwali and Aegan.

Marmayogi gets a setback

Pyramid Saimira is recently facing new problems; they even backed out of a Hindi film distribution including Shoot at Sight. It operation at North India and Bollywood was shut down as well.
After the fall of the movie Kuselan at the box office Pyramid Saimira has given layoff to many of its professionals from the management level. It seems that improper function was taking place in the management level. Pyramid Saimira is one of the co-producers of Kamal Hassan’s Marmayogi and now they are confused to stay or to dropout of the project.
